Yes, this time last year, the site officially launched (although some of you were on it the day before because I'd put the first comic up out of impatience) and the search of our dear little grey robot began, and now here we are about to set sail in what looks like a paper boat.
If you are reading this, I'd like to say thankyou for making The Republic of Here worth continuing for the year that is has. You've put up with my sporadic updating and not much plot because you saw something worth following. I'm quite proud to have created something that so many have enjoyed on the level they have. I guess it's pretty cult-ish for a webcomic, so thanks for being part of the cult.
Special thanks to Nick, whose occasional tinkering has kept the site functioning.
Here's to another year and some adventures at sea!
